Sue I do so enjoy your writing - a few of us had lunch yesterday and Barb Dudley/Stuart shared this link; so I promptly subscribed - looking forward to reading your work - as a retired high school teacher, I have some time to enjoy! - Sue Gannett
WowWowWow. I’m so glad. Thank Barbara for me. I really want to come home and visit you guys. Party at my brother, Allen’s? Maybe in the fall. I’ll be spending this summer in the writing chair finishing a novel. Maybe in the fall.
I’d add a discipline here: the political. Just look at the way Trump was mythologized, especially after the shooting in PA. But it was in process way before that. You’d think he was the second coming…
Such a great place to start— Mythology/ Psychology/ Philosophy— are they really any different a thing? You’ve made me realize that in every single piece, one of or all of these come forth. Mythology is the mask of ‘digestibility’ for storytelling as the placebo to lull readers into the realms of their subconscious without even knowing it.
Susan, I can picture you at your desk all those years, not frozen exactly, but stalled, like a car that won’t turn over. And that last question, "Who are you, and what do you want?" - it’s sharp enough to leave a bruise. Honestly, I don’t have an answer, but I’m glad you’re asking.
I agree with Amy. Keep going in this raw honesty. You were going to speak and write about things that most people would not even know anything about really. I’m with you. I support you great stuff, great questions

I love that. Peace is a bottom-line thing to want. It's deep and beautiful.
I'm a dreamer. I just want peace and harmony.

I live that. I think of the questions as peeling back the layers of conditioning to get to the essence.

The keys are always in the questions.
Thank you so much. You are a light.
Keep writing.
You are so kind. Thank you.
You are working in an extraordinary way. It’s unique. It’s emergent. Keep going.
I’m going to read this when doubts attack.
